We had three little chicks born overnight. Mother hen has been roosting for the last month and three of them hatched today. Quite beautiful little chicks . . . if I do say so. What do you think?
We lost 5 chickens due to the sudden swing in heat last week (20 degree swing up to 110 degrees this week). Three more entered the world this morning . . . the amazing cycle of life continues.
